Job Brief
We are on the lookout for part time staff to quickly become part of a small team at a local pub in the heart of Dronfield offering live sports, food and a private function room, someone who will deliver friendly customer service and help create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers! With the aim to build relationships with customers to retain and attract new customers.
The job role is split between food and beverage and all training will be given, so no experience is necessary.
Essential requirements
You must:
- have proof of right to work in the UK
- have a UK bank account in your own name
- be able to converse in English
- have a fixed place of residence and live within a reasonable travelling distance of the pub
Main responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service, at all times ensuring the customer receives a warm welcome
- Serve and present beverages, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards
- Assist in keeping the bar, front-of-house and toilets clean and tidy, at all times
Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
- Make customers aware of offers on our great food and drink range
- Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing law
- Carry out instructions given by the management.
- Ensure they adhere to procedures to keep staff and customers safe.
Hours
The hours are varied across evenings and weekends so would suit someone in education or someone who is looking for a flexible job to work around other commitments.
Progression
The right candidate will be able to progress with the business, as we always are on the lookout for supervisors and we believe our team make the best supervisors and always look to recruit this role in house.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £6.83-£10.50 per hour
