Launched in May 2021, The Orator- A Beautiful new Brasserie and Bar in the city centre of Cambridge.

Basic rate is £10.45 plus tips.

We have a beautiful Victorian gothic building with fantastic decor and grounds, working at The Orator you are also part of the team at the Cambridge Union Society; serving celebrities is not uncommon (see our Instagram for more details @theoratorcambridge).

We are looking for Bar Tenders to be part a diverse bar & waiting team, with experience in a high-volume operation, who cultivates a continuous development cycle, with high attention to detail.

The Role

The bartender is responsible for delivering excellent service in our brasserie and bar. Working as a team to deliver excellent results.

  • Proactive contributor to the day-to-day operation of the Orator.
  • Work as a team to deliver an excellent experience for our customers
  • Deal with any complaints effectively and positively.
  • Run an efficient and customer focused bar section
  • Contribute to ensuring high standards are kept throughout the operation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: £10.45 per hour
