Job description
The Blue Lagoon Cafe Bar, at the heart of Bristol's infamous independent Gloucester Road district, is looking for several bartenders to join our Front of House team. You will be joining us at our favourite time of year as we say goodbye to winter and get ready for the summer period, serving good food and tropical cocktails! We are famous for our day and night good-vibes - reggae, rum-a-plenty, live music every night and a whole lot of energy.
Ideally, you will have an excellent track record of performance in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This position would suit somebody from a background in busy nightlife venues, or a skilled Barista with adapability and plenty of enthusiasm. Experience in making cocktails is desirable, as well as cellar training, food service and food hygiene training. A good attitude, though, is the key to success in this role and so those without experience will be considered on this basis and full training provided to the right candidate.
You should expect to work weekends and will work a variety of shift patterns week by week, both day shifts and night shifts.
