Players Entertainment, a very popular entertainment venue within the city centre is currently seeking a Bar and Services Staff, we’re looking for ambitious, enthusiastic and passionate individuals who enjoy providing great hospitality to our guests and provide excellent customer service.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build a good rapport with team members and customers alike in a charismatic, natural, and professional manner.
• Ability to maintain high standards when working under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft software and POS system proficiency.
• Able to be flexible as shifts will vary with seasonal and/or holiday time being busier.
• Open and receptive to new information, possessing a common sense approach.
• Strong work ethic and totally reliable, requiring minimal supervision.

Bar Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring consistently high levels of cleanliness and hygiene are always maintained, to ensure all bar storage, service and stock areas are left clean and tidy at the end of service.
• Taking beverages, food and other ordered items to tables and/or privately hired rooms in a professional manner; with attention to detail being key.
• Evaluating and remembering the needs and preferences of customers (particularly VIP guests) and make reccomendations based on those needs.
• To ensure high standards of customer service at all times and to be an exemplar member of the team in excellent customer service delivery.
• Become fully conversant with the ethos of PLAYERS Entertainment, the facilities, the type of services provided and promotional offers given.

Candidates MUST be over the age of 18and be eligible to work in the UK.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £10.18 - £10.42 (per hour)
