At Blossom Tree Montessori, we are recruiting for a Bank Staff Nursery Assistant/Practitioner to join our warm and friendly nursery.
We are set next to a beautiful farm on Joel Street in Northwood Hills/Pinner. We are really passionate about the Montessori ethos and we provide in house training as well as supporting staff to complete courses to further their knowledge. We are looking for the right candidate who is dedicated, flexible and has a passion for working in Early Years. Your weekly hours would differ depending on our needs and your availability. As a member of the Bank Staff team, you would work across all classrooms in the nursery, with all ages. We have a total of 5 classrooms in the nursery across two levels and 3 beautiful outdoor spaces for the children to explore. We are around a 7 minute walk from Northwood Hills Station and there is a bus stop right outside the nursery so we are very accessible via public transport.

A day at Blossom would include:
- Following the guidance of the Room Leaders and other members of the team in the classroom.
- Ensuring the children are happy, content and safe whilst being supervised at all times.
- Ensuring the needs of each child are being met.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of the nursery at all times.
- Help to ensure that the children always have a stimulating and welcoming environment.
- Forming secure relationships with the children.
- General tidying, cleaning and housekeeping.
What we would ask from you:
- Previous experience of working in a previous Early Years setting is essential.
- A relevant Childcare qualification or Montessori Diploma is desirable.
- An extensive knowledge of the current EYFS is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- To be passionate, motivated, have the ability to work well within a team and be able to adapt to a fun and inspiring way of working.
We take safeguarding very seriously and a current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate is essential.
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Salary: £9.50-£11.00 per hour
