What is the Staff Bank? The KGH Staff Bank is a Temporary Staffing department recruiting workers who are looking to take up zero hour contracts or additional shifts around their current roles. This is a fantastic opportunity to build new relationships in departments who need shifts covering as and when whilst contributing to supporting your local hospital.

Essential Skills and Experience required:
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (Adult) or Care Certificate( relevant experience)
- A minimum of 6 months Acute NHS or Care/Residential work experience
- Willing to commit to shifts
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Priority of shifts over an agency worker, accommodating your availability
- An online self-booking system that also allows you to submit timesheets electronically - “No more paper time sheets”
- A dedicated compliance team that ensures you remain compliant to work
- Core Skills Training
- Opportunities for further training to upskill

To assist and support registered staff in the delivery of high quality, individualised, dignified and compassionate care to patients.
To contribute to the effective running of the department by concentrating on tasks that directly support the needs of the patient and assists their journey, prioritising on patients as required. To work under the supervision of a registered healthcare practitioner at all times, working within the parameters of their competence, communicating and documenting appropriate and relevant information to other members of the multi-disciplinary team in a professional timely manner. The ability to work to a high standard at all times, influencing and role modelling patient centred care.
The post holder will abide by the National (DoH 2013) and local Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
The post holder may be required to rotate through other wards and departments as required to support Trust business and nursing care
