Bank Appointments Clerk /Receptionist/Secretarial Assistant
There are 7 Radiology Departments across United Lincolnshire Hospital's NHS Trust, offering MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Dexa, X-Ray, Fluoroscopy and Interventional services.
We perform over 300k examinations per year providing a 24 hour service for emergency procedures. The departments carry out a wide range of procedures including plain film radiography, barium studies, A/E Trauma, IVU’s, theatre, dental and interventional fluoroscopy. The MRI, CT and Ultrasound departments are constantly developing and expanding their service provision.

Suitable applicants will undertake duties within the Radiology Appointments/Reception/Secretarial areas, based at Lincoln County Hospital. This will involve a requirement to cover general admin duties within the Xray Department.
The successful applicant will join the team of Ultrasound Appointment Clerks in appointing investigations and cancer referrals, liaising with patients, clinicians and Radiology clinical staff. Appointments will be scheduled using the Radiology Information System (RIS), inputting data and informing patients and clinicians of appointment dates and times.
Appointments will be scheduled to ensure there are no breaches of waiting times in accordance with local and national targets, in liaison with Consultant Radiologists and Advanced Practitioner Sonographers to ensure the efficient utilisation of Imaging work lists.
Cover will also be required in general administration duties with the Radiology Secretaries and Reception (manned between the hours of 07.30 - 20.00 7 days a week).

You must be able to undertake early start times, late finish times and weekend work when required. You must also be able to travel to other sites in Louth, Gainsborough and Grantham.
