The Therapy and Lifestyle Clinic (TLC) is a new up and coming business, providing support for people experiencing mental health and physical health concerns. TLC is a highly professional, private service with a drive to offer gold standard psychological interventions including CBT, Psychosexual therapy, EMDR and Counselling, in addition to supporting positive physical health.
Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting for exciting opportunities to join The TLC team, to be part of our professional and innovative service. At TLC we specialise in evidence–based treatment options and we are looking for an experienced and motivated eating disorders specialist to join our team.
Role Responsibility
You will join our team in Chesterfield to assist with the delivery of the service and as a key member of the team, you will be working closely with our clinical team to maintain our high standards and help us to develop.
As an experienced specialist you’ll be managing your own caseload and working alongside our qualified and trainee therapists to support delivery of quality support for our client base. Delivery of high quality assessments and interventions for clients presenting with mild to moderate eating difficulties. Treatment is provided both 1:1 and in groups.
You will get regular supervision and will be able to access regular masterclasses to develop your skills and support your career development. You will work with your supervisor and line manager to make sure development and CPD plans are in place for your ongoing growth.
The Ideal Candidate
As well as being passionate about helping people, you will need outstanding written and telephone communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Previous experience working in psychological therapy teams would be beneficial, as would further training in children’s mental health or CBT. People with lived experience of mental health issues are encouraged to apply for these posts.
Benefits
The benefits included in this role:
£41,000 Salary P.A.
28 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, increasing to 28 days plus one fifth of a working week after 5 years of continuous service and 28 days plus two fifths of a working week after 10 years’ continuous service. Additional holiday entitlement will be applied from the start of the new holiday year (1st January) after 5 and 10 years continuous service.
Sick pay – No payment for the first three waiting days (normal working days) for each separate period of sickness absence. After six months’ employment Company Sick Pay will be paid up to a maximum of three weeks in any rolling year, thereafter at the Company’s discretion.

We have an auto enrolment pension scheme in line with the government regulations which you will be enrolled in after 3 months employment if you qualify.

Training and career development opportunities
The service offers therapy opportunities for clients between the hours of 8am-8pm and in the future, also at weekends. Successful candidates must be prepared to work flexibly to meet service needs within these hours. A balance of in-clinic work and remote working is encouraged.
