Are you a registered Physiotherapist looking to develop your skills and knowledge within the field of multidisciplinary community rehabilitation? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic practitioner to work in our therapy hub within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This post is based within the South Therapy Hub, but is currently under development and may in future include rotation between different core services within BCHC.
The therapy hub provides therapy services within the Adults & Community Division in the community as part of the integrated adult community services. We work closely with the Early Intervention Community Teams and District Nurses to provide Rehab at home to prevent admission to hospital and ongoing support to maintain the independence and health of people. Our service consists of team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Technicians , Rehabilitation Assistants and admin staff.

We require a Physiotherapist who can work as a member of our team to meet the complex needs of the patients in our culturally and economically diverse community.
The post will attract an effective communicator with some experience in the field of community rehabilitation. The ability to work effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team is essential.
The applicant should have a good working knowledge of the principals of clinical governance and clinical supervision. Lone working is an essential part of the role. You will need to be a car driver with access to your own vehicle to complete your visits.
The successful applicant will be supported in their personal development, Preceptorship programme and will receive regular supervision from Senior Physiotherapists. You will also be supported by in service training programmes to develop in your role.
