Job description
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of designated wards, outpatient clinics and providing dietetic advice education and support to patient’s carers and other Health Care Professionals.
The post holder is a source of dietetic expertise to The Trust’s in and out patients. You will be aiming to optimise their nutritional status, help them meet their health objectives and achieve a good quality of life. We are proud of our strong AHP community, in which we play an active role within multi-disciplinary team working.
You will have a wide-ranging introduction to dietetics with the opportunity to build a portfolio of experience in a range of clinical dietetic conditions.
You will be joining and experienced supportive team of dietitians and will participate in regular 1:1 supervision to facilitate clinical excellence and personal development. We will support you with the BDA competency document, to aid progression to Band 6 level. We actively participate in clinical audit, student training and service development.
As a team we are passionate about providing development opportunities for our staff which are tailored to meet the needs of the individual. Our Trust has excellent additional leadership training opportunities, to aid progression.
