Job summary
The post holder will work within the Postgraduate Office providing management and administration support for the postgraduate medical training programmes delivered by the Trust.
The Postgraduate team is responsible for the training programmes and educational support for all junior doctors in the Trust; both Doctors in Training Posts and Trust appointed Junior Specialty Doctors (JSDs). The post holder will be responsible for the coordination of all aspects of one or more specific training programmes. The post holder will work closely with the other members of the Postgraduate Medical Education team to ensure the provision of a high standard of training and support for the junior doctor workforce in the Trust.
There are currently two vacancies: One based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and one based at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, however both posts may be required to travel to any of the University Hospital Birmingham sites, to ensure the needs of the service are meet. The vacancies are currently offered as permanent, full time (37.5hrs per week), working 09:00am until 17:00pm Monday to Friday, with a 30min rest break daily.
