Job description
The post holder will support the engagement of service users, families and carers in the planning and delivery of mental health services, and the mainstreaming of the recovery agenda. This will include the development and facilitation of strong communication networks between service providers and those who use our services. There is the expectation that you will work flexibly across all areas of the Trust subject to service requirements, and the remit of the post will be subject to continual evaluation in line with the evolving priorities of the wider portfolio.
The purpose of the role is to provide a visible and effective service user and family/carer engagement presence in services, supporting the engagement of service users and families/carers in all aspects of services, both at an individual and service wide level. Key to the job is working in a way that consolidates systems and processes to engage people, mainstreaming into daily operational activities where possible, to firmly embed engagement as a routine part of practice all relating to working from a model of coproduction and collaboration engaging service users, families and carers as partners.

This role gives the opportunity for hybrid working and you will typically be asked to work in a hybrid way, working from your home and also from Trust HQ The Uffculme Centre, or any other agreed site.
