The Return to Practice roles are:
Nurse
Midwife
S&L Therapist Assistant
Radiographic Department Assistant
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Dietetic Assistant
Physiotherapy Assistant
Senior Theatre Support

We offer paid employment whilst we support you through the Return to Practice Programme.
We will enable you to complete a supervised placement practice, formal CPD and access peer support to enable your application for re-registration.

Nursing
You will be working towards re-entry onto the Nursing and Midwifery professional register (Adult and Child Registered Nurse) and will be supported towards the completion of the Return to Practice programme and renewal of registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
You will concurrently commit to undertake formal university education through the Return to Practice nursing course. The programme
combines and integrates academic and work-based learning through close collaboration with employers and education providers and will require successful completion of all components of the programme within the contracted period.
Midwifery
This program provides clinical support on midwifery placements supplemented with theoretical sessions at an approved Higher Education Institute.
The successful candidate will provide effective family centred midwifery care working alongside a registered midwife in a supernumerary capacity in all clinical settings.
Allied Health Professions (AHPs)
We are able to support the following allied health professions to complete supervised hours as part of the return to practice programme:
- Diagnostic Radiographers
- Dietitians
- Occupational Therapists
- Speech and Language Therapists
- Physiotherapists
- Operating Department Practitioner
We offer flexible hours and working patterns according to both re-registration requirements and the needs of the profession/service.
