We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to take up a role in our busy, varied and innovative department. The role covers work across a number of Birmingham based sites including both acute hospitals and community based healthcare clinics; working within a large, supportive team to deliver high quality and efficient Teledermatology services.

Our busy Teledermatology Clinics see over 200 patients per week, ensuring they receive a fast review and treatment. These clinics are highly reviewed by both patients and staff and are constantly developing and growing.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Dragon and Oceano, as well as have experience in a patient facing role and have a good level of IT skills. Along with excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to follow our hub processes, as well as being a self-motivated, compassionate and enthusiastic member of our team.
Main duties, tasks & skills required
We invite applicants who have a range of experience in co-ordinating clinical services, who are dedicated and enthusiastic and who put the patient at the centre of all their decisions throughout the working day.
The role will organise all aspects of the service provision to provide an efficient and effective screening facility for 2 week wait Dermatology referrals in Dermatology clinics and satellite areas.
The candidate will be expected to process patient information using a variety of hospital information systems throughout the patient pathway, including appointment bookings, onward referral and discharge correspondence. The role will also require the candidate to be present during patient appointments to support the photographer and facilitate the Teledermatology pathway. The successful candidate will also help analyse the service to provide continuous improvement until the end of the pilot and contribute any proposals to progress the service in the future.

Good General Education (e.g. GCSE English and Maths A-C) GCSE Level 9-4
Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an administrative environment
