Job description
We need a new member of our team to help with our macaron making, packing and selling.
This mixed role involves working in our bakery in Hellesdon, Norwich and covering Annual Leave when our Royal Arcade Shop staff are on holiday. It is a unique role that will require the post holder to work confidently in all aspects of our business. The role will initially be for 3 days a week, including weekend work when working in the shop. The role will be split approximately 75% Bakery work 25% Shop across the year.
The bakery work will involved assisting with our day-to-day macaron baking and filling. You will also help with the picking and packing our website orders.
The Sales Assistant role will involve all aspects of serving customers and the day-to-day running of the shop, including cleaning, packing away deliveries. At times this may involve working on your own.
The post holder will need exemplary communication skills and a flexible and positive nature.
Our bakery is easy to get to (opposite the big ASDA - NR65DR) with a bus stop 1-minute walk from us or parking right outside the door. Our shop is in the Royal Arcade, Norwich.
We are a relaxed, friendly, and flexible kitchen. You will go home on time and get a 45-minute lunch break.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week
Salary: £7.45-£9.50 per hour
