Job description
A bakery production operative who will be responsible for preparing, decorating and packing frozen desserts and cakes.Duties:Working on the production line that will require the production and decoration of cakes and desserts.Working on the bakery production department that will include the weighing of ingredients and loading of ovens.Ensuring work areas are kept organised, clean and maintained to the high standard.Completing production records to ensure the traceability of products.Liaising with management teams to ensure appropriate quality standards and production quotas are being met.Packing finished products and preparing them for despatch.Essential Skills:*Experience in working in a food or industrial environment and managing your own responsibilities.*Will be required to conduct regular manual labour at machinery and around factory unit.*English speaking and writing skills are essential for completing relevant paperwork and liaising with the management team.Note:*Work environment is mainly Gujarati speaking, and would be best suited for individuals with experience in these environments.Qualifications:The candidate with relevant experience from food industry.Food Safety & Hygiene.1-2 years Bakery/Catering environment experience.English Reading and Writing is essential.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £10.42-£11.00 per hourExpected hours: 37 – 40 per weekBenefits:Free parkingOn-site parkingFlexible Language Requirement:English not requiredSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate: Leicester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Bakery: 2 years (required)Language:Gujarati (preferred)English (preferred)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 27/10/2023
