Do you love cookies? Do you love baking? We're looking for a totally awesome part-time bakery assistant to tray up, roll, bake and pack artisan cookies at our family bakery in Nuneaton (CV10 7NG).

• Prior food/catering/baking experience is preferable, but not essential as full training will be given.
• Flexible part time hours (on a zero hours contract) are available for this role, but you will usually be required to work every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 9.30am-3.30pm.
• There will be some early mornings, late evenings and full weekend work available from time to time, especially during the Summer festival and Christmas seasons.
• After initial training you will be working as a team to tray up, bake, top and pack our artisan cookies for events and customer orders.
• This job would suit a hardworking, positive person who loves everything about cookies & baking, with good attention to detail and great organisation skills!
• With experience, you will be able to manage small-medium event bakes solo. Bakery cleaning and general maintenance is a standard and essential part of the job.
• Computer literacy and use of email, word and excel would be beneficial but not essential.
• It is a physical job which requires the lifting/moving of heavy tubs of dough and cookies.
• Pay based on minimum wage+ (subject to training and experience)
• For the right candidate showing proactivity and initiative, progression to a full time position with greater responsibility for the management of stock and baking plans is also possible.
