The role
Accountabilities:
- Line management of Baggage Delivery Managers and Lead SBO
- Stakeholder Management (Airline/HA Station managers) working through the Head of Customer Operations as required.
- Develop face to face relationships with front/back of house supervisors and their teams
- Contract Account Management –HBS Screening
- Closely working with IT to ensure the performance and availability of check-in equipment
- HBS Security Compliance Management
- Supplier Contract Management – MITIE Screening, DT Source
- Development resource demand (inhouse and contractor) for Resource Scheduling.
- Ensuring the maintenance of skills for the baggage operational teams.
- Baggage System Operational Improvements
- Reporting (SLAs & KPIs) on weekly performance.
- Work with EDM to ensure asset availability and reliability.
- Driving personal development and succession planning.
- Uphold Health and Safety compliance and standards
- Financial authority for Overtime, Training budgets, and key contracts
- Productivity and Efficiency drivers and reporting

- ILM Level 5 in Leadership (desired)
