The Role:
This role is critical to ensuring every bag meets its departing aircraft and every arriving bag is delivered to reclaim in a timely manner, meeting our SLAs. This role will be working in line with compliance DfT baggage security regulations, supporting ground handlers to meet first bag, last bag SLA on arrivals and ensuring there is a consistent approach to the operation. Operational contingencies and operational recovery in the event of critical asset outage will also be essential to the success of this position. This role will be responsible for line management of control room operators and field operators, leading on-shift staff and assigned baggage technicians in line with operational demand.
You:
This role requires someone who has excellent operational planning experience and stakeholder management skills. Previous experience in managing a team will be essential, as people management will be the key to the success of this position. Good computer skills (with ideally knowledge of office 365, SAC SCADA, CIS Chroma, CCTV), proven experience in report writing and data analysis are also essential skills!
