Back-End Developer

West Yorkshire (Hybrid)

£55,000

Your primary focus will be development and maintenance of new and existing systems. In addition, our client have a few systems running which you’ll be responsible for migrating.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with the existing team to develop and maintain systems in PHP/Laravel.
• Making front end changes to a vue.js front end, with a view to migrating from this framework over time
• Working systematically with other members of the team to improve the performance of the CRM, eCommerce websites in terms of aesthetics, functionality and conversion rates.
• Developing in house systems to aid in productivity and profitability for other colleagues
• Investigating, finding and resolving bugs in the code base and applying these fixes across their sites.

What you'll need

• Experience with PHP, Laravel & relational databases (MySQL or similar)
• Familiarity of working with building and consuming APIs
• Willingness to challenge the status quo - They love out of the box thinkers and want all employees to try find better ways of working across the business
