Key Purpose of the role:
You’ll help us bring the magic of our brands to our customers through the food and drink that we serve. The Back of House Team Member is a vital cog to our engine- the kitchen! You’ll assist with everything back of house from the storage, preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food to maintaining standards of excellence around cleaning and safety. Along with your team, you’ll ensure that all food is served to brand standard and that only the absolute best reaches our customers. Maintaining strict health and hygiene standards is a must, and you’ll also play a key role in ensuring our Restaurant Hub looks amazing all day every day!
Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional standards and service to all customers, at all times. All wrapped up with you being you, and a great big dollop of professionalism and enthusiasm mixed in.
- Ensure that our menu is always prepared and served to specification, in line with your training and that you understand the importance of quality and consistency.
- Demonstrates strong menu knowledge.
- Support your management team in ensuring the kitchen is fully set for service in line with all checklists, cleaning schedules, audit standards and brand standards.
- Helps to minimise waste.
- Ensuring all delivery items are checked for quantity, quality and use-by date and are put away as per company policies and procedures.
- Own your section and duties including open checks, close down checks and food safety management checks.
- Ensures excellent standards are maintained at all times by following set cleaning tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and as per site requirements.
- Always has the customer at the heart of everything you do- assisting your managers and front of house team to resolve and customer complaints or queries.
- Ensure that you comply with legislation regarding Security, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Licensing laws and as per training provided.
- Can fully explain and demonstrate the allergen procedures.
- Always a key player and a team player!
- Reports anything not right or broken to management immediately.
- Attends and contributes to team meetings and training sessions.
- Knows and supports the wider team to achieve sales targets.
