Job Title: Babysitter/Nanny/ Childminder or other person with childcare experience and an enhanced disclosure detailing suitability to work with children to take a child from 17 Ames road, Swanscombe, Kent, DA10 0JB to the Craylands School, Craylands Lane, Swanscombe, Kent, DA10 0LP and home again from Craylands School to 17 Ames Road, Swanscombe.

The journey is 10 minutes maximum walk on foot (level ground, no hills or slopes) and 4 minutes maximum by car if preferred (I can provide a booster insert for a car) to the Swanscombe Leisure Centre car park which is exactly next to the school and charges no fees. School start time is 08.45 am approximately (to be confirmed tomorrow by the school as they decide on time slots for different aged children) and collection is at 3.15pm.

I am looking for a kind, patient and caring person to take my child to and from school from Monday to Friday (every day) during term times. I will pay 10 pounds to take my child to school and 10 pounds to take my child home from school (20 pounds each day that both journeys are completed). Included in the 10 minutes journey is also collection time of 15 minutes and 5 minutes should it be required to discuss any matter with a teacher at drop off to the school (30 minutes total AM, and similar 30 minutes PM at collection). I expect this to be every day from Monday to Friday but not any school inset days / events that close the school or illness which I will not need any cover for or also during school holidays.

I need a person who can concentrate on making the journey to and from school with only my child so I am trying to find someone who has already dropped off their children at an earlier time or a mum whose children have already grown up but would like to work with children and is happy to work for 30 mins twice a day between 08.30 and 09.00 and again from 3.15 to 3.45 pm ( total 10 pounds AM and 10 pounds PM ).

I really need someone who is caring and enjoys the school-run and has something kind to offer our family and our child. I need 2 x references which I will follow up (phone numbers please and names of referees) and if you have an enhanced disclosure I would like a copy or if you don have one, you can apply for one and commence the role after it is completed if the position is still vacant.

Because school could close suddenly, or situations change it is a zero hour contract but I expect to attempt to keep as closely to school term dates as possible. There will be no notice period either way if situations change and I will pay for every journey made to the school.

If you have experience of working with young children, being a mum or of being a childminder / babysitter or nanny already it will be an advantage as will living very close to Swanscombe, Kent, which is preferrable. I am happiest if the applicant lives in Greenhithe, Swanscombe, Northfleet, Stone etc but will consider another surrounding area if the applicant drives.

The applicant may need to push a buggy / stroller.

It is helpful if the applicant has any experience of autism, ADHD, or special educational needs. It will also be helpful if the applicant knows basic first aid.

The applicant requires a mobile phone that can be reached during the journey for emergencies, should any arise, and for wellbing checks where necessary (not provided).

It should be a fairly easy job and possibly only take 30 - 40 minutes each day so it can be a little extra money for the right person with a kind motivation to do the job. Duties:
- Provide attentive and responsible care for a child in a safe and nurturing way whilst travelling to and from school either by car / on foot or pushing the stroller (provided)
- Follow parents' instructions regarding schedules, routines, and any specific care requirements
- Monitor the childs behavior and ensure their well-being at all times
- Communicate effectively with parents / teachers regarding any concerns or updates about the child

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children of various ages
- Strong understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or possibly willingness to obtain)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
