Nanny SummaryA family in the Settlers Mill neighborhood in Williamsburg is seeking a full-time nurturing, professional nanny to care for their newborn daughter who will be 4 months old when the position starts towards the end of April.All aspects of infant care will be required as well as light housekeeping in-line with the child’s care.Ideally seeking a nanny who understands the needs of a growing infant and plays a positive role in their development working closely with the parents.Mom will be working outside of the home, but dad is home-based currently.The family has no other children at this point but does have a friendly 12-year-old dog who does not require care.Ages 4-month-old girlLocation Off Jamestown Road, Williamsburg VA 23185Hours Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pmTotal # of hours per week 45 hours per week approx.Preferred start date April 18, 2022Job duration At least until October and possibly longerCompensation $18-$22 per hourTaxes deducted YesPaid time off Yes – 10 days paid vacation per year after a qualifying period of 3 monthsPets Friendly 12-year-old dogDuties and Responsibilities· Always follow the parent’s specific instructions with regards to all aspects of childcare and learn the parent’s style of care.· Always be attentive to the child’s needs and ensure the infant’s health, well-being and safety is the nanny’s priority always.· Be positive and have a good working attitude.· Communicate with the parents daily regarding the infant and her needs.
