Nanny/Caregiver We're seeking fun, active and reliable sitters for our On-Call Sitter Program in the Costa Mesa and surrounding areas.Our on-call sitters have the opportunity to meet and work with a wide array of families with different numbers of children from all age ranges. This is a perfect position for a babysitter, nanny, nurse, CNA, preschool teaching assistant or student seeking part-time or full time hours. You'll get to work with new families on an on-going basis and have variety with ages and fun kiddos. Maybe school is closed for the day or week; a regular child care provider is not available, or the child is mildly ill and cannot go to daycare or school. As an on-call sitter you will save the day for families when regular daycare or other arrangements fall through. You'll experience giggles, teaching new games and activities, encouraging milestones, blanket fort building, healthy snack or meal prep and kid-focused fun.We are looking for an immediate start date with a continuation for 3 - 12+ months. Motivated sitters will average 40+ hours per week. (Daily and weekly overtime paid!) Or, if you are seeking part time work or supplemental income around school, another part time job, your family or other obligations, our scheduling allows you to flex your assignments as needed.We focus on the care of the child only; no cleaning, running errands, transportation, or housework.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSPrior experience in the field of childcare including infants.Full day availability (approx. 7 am - 7 pm) at least two to three weekdays.CPR & First Aid certified (or ability to obtain certification immediately)SERVICES PROVIDED BY CAREGIVERSTransitioning with the child when mom or dad leave the home.Providing a safe environment for the children.Engaging the child in play, story time, arts & crafts, any fun activities that are age appropriate.Meal preparation, as directed by the parents, for the meal times you staff.Clean up of activities, games and toys used during the days of care.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From $17.50 per hourBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth savings accountPaid time offProfessional development assistanceTuition reimbursementSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Signing bonusCOVID-19 considerations:Nannies must be vaccinated.
