Mucky Pups Childcare are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate, and highly motivated room manager for our baby room.

You may be a room manager looking for a change, or maybe an experienced nursery nurse looking for the next step in your career (with proven experience in being competent to manage a room)
It is essential that you:
- Have a recognised level 3 qualification
- Have experience working with children 3 months - 2 years.
- Are highly motivated practitioner with high expectations for all children
- Are able to lead a small team of staff
- Be proficient in supporting the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning
- To be self motivated, able to work as part of a team as well as being able to use own initiative
- Have knowledge of the importance of nurturing and the impact it has on the outcomes for children
- To maintain high standards throughout the nursery, reading and implementing all policies and procedures at all times.
- To have some understanding of OFSTED expectations, EYFS and the Welfare Requirements
- To encourage child development through effective, age appropriate activities and play following the EYFS.
- To take responsibility for a group of ‘Key’ children, making sure a variety of observations are made regularly as well as completing termly reports and tracking to review the children's progress.
- To ensure daily routines are adhered to and are appropriate to the children’s age and stage of development. To be able to adapt routines when needed.
- Have an understanding of safeguarding procedures.
Desirable but not essential:
- Food Hygiene certificate
- Paediatric First Aid certificate
- Safeguarding training
- Specific training in baby care
The nursery and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. You will require an enhanced DBS check.

Job Location: Rockingham Leisure Park, Corby
Hours: 40 hours per week
