Why this job matters
In this role you'll be working with a squad, operating the design framework to deliver brilliant customer and advisor experiences. You'll work across the principles and approach for design to provide early engagement on roadmap initiatives for our brilliant brands. You'll understand business needs to ensure requirements are met and identify opportunities to leverage the power of Decisioning to ensure everything we do is personal, simple and brilliant.
As a BA/Designer - Decisioning you'll be a leader responsible for maximising the value of the products created by an agile development squad. Working in collaboration with Solution and Decisioning Architects, Product Owners, other Business Analysts, MSPs and Developers you'll work with our stakeholders to produce User Stories and Artefacts in support of their change requirements for briefing and handover to the Development teams. You will break down into stories or actionable chunks of value, working with the squads and delivery teams to ensure they are implemented.

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage and prioritise the Decisioning backlog
  • Translating internal Stakeholder's requirements into Development tasks
  • Work in collaboration with SA's, DA's and other solution leads to design integrated and seamless solutions
  • Work with other Business Analysts and Solution leads to shape decisioning solutions that meet the business requirements
  • Work with stakeholders in Commercial, Marketing and assisted channels to design solutions that support business priorities
  • Contribute to the Decisioning build, test, measure and learn activities
  • Act as early engagement on key projects
  • Define the design framework and principles to ensure we leverage the power of decisioning in everything we do
  • Understand business need to design brilliant customer and advisor experiences
  • Input into VROM impact assessments for all strategic projects
  • Provide recommendations on decisioning solutions and produce artefacts including design stories at the appropriate point in the project lifecycle.
The skills and experience you'll need
  • Knowledge of Decisioning
  • Expertise in decisioning technologies and ways of working - knowledge of Pega, other Frontline systems and their uses
  • Experience with producing User Stories
  • Strong experience using Confluence/Jira, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to identify and recognise technical dependencies
  • Strong understanding of data and data architecture
  • Understanding of available data integrations into other systems
  • Ability to identify and recognise technical dependencies
  • Strategic thinking and planning; driving efficient ways of working and the operating model
  • Ability to make the difficult simple, interpreting the business need and providing clear recommendations and opportunities to leverage decisioning.
