A new opportunity has arisen at BA Cityflyer to join our finance team as an Accounts Assistant, Commercial and Reporting. This role supports BA Cityflyer flying programme from our hub at London City, to some of the most desirable European destinations. About the Role
In this role you’ll support the Finance Business Partner to and be responsible for assisting with the standard cost accounts in the balance sheet and maintaining accurate reconciliations of the accounts.
This is a reporting focused role, ensuring accurate accounting is maintained, as well as being responsible for managing quarterly reconciliations and supporting forecasting, with variance analysis and commentary.
This is a hands-on role with varied scope providing room for development in all aspects of accounting and financial support.
About You
You’ll need to have a relevant finance related degree or studying for an accounting qualification (CIMA certificate level or equivalent), have previous experience working within an accounting function and of performing reconciliations, calculating accruals and prepayments.
You’ll need strong Excel and analytical skills and be able to demonstrate working under your own initiative, to tight timescales, as well as being a supportive and effective team member.
