Job description
Key Essential Skills:
- 3 plus years of experience.
- CI/CD tools & techniques while working on any one major cloud platform ( AWS, Azure).
- Containers & orchestration frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
Desirable Skills:
- All stages of the software delivery life cycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work closely with engineers in cross functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Automated testing frameworks.
- Infrastructure As Code (eg Terraform & Ansible) and command line.
- Operational monitoring and dashboarding for applications (eg. ELK, SonarQube, Prometheus, Grafana).
Overview:
- We are currently seeking an experienced professional DevOps Engineer specialised in either AWS, Azure to join our client with an immediate start with our client.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate complex data or technical concepts to non-technical internal clients.
- Lead small teams in technical assignments.
- Architecting small to medium-sized data products and data pipelining.
- Delivering projects within Agile or Scrum framework.
- Training and mentoring of immediate team members and colleagues in the wider business.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
