Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days per week at home)
Our Platform division are looking for someone to join our tech team at the heart of this fast-paced tech driven division, working with the latest cloud technologies. You will be joining a small team responsible for maintaining and supporting our key services, focusing on automation in all aspects, learning, creating, and sharing new ways to build and deploy our services, with a drive to push the adoption of the latest DevOps tools and methodologies.
You will be part of the team that is Evolving our best practices for deploying our solutions into AWS and supporting the cloud infrastructure in the production environment.
Skills & Experience required
- Proficient in either AWS, Azure or Google technologies
- Strong problem solving, analytical skills and curiosity
- Able to articulate complex technical problems to a technical and non-technical audience
- First-class engineering discipline with experience to truly solve business problems
- Knowledge of Application Support and Development processes
- Experience working with a Cloud platform at scale
- Be a first-class communicator, encouraging collaboration across the team which spans across multiple locations
These skills are preferred but not essential
- Cloud certification on AWS
- Experience working in a regulated workplace
- A DevOps/SRE, agile approach and mentality
Good understanding of relevant technical areas
- Scripting languages: Bash, PowerShell, Python
- Infrastructure-as-code: Terraform
- Version control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket
- CI/CD: TeamCity and Octopus
- System Administration: Linux, Windows
- Any experience in Containerisation i.e., Docker & Kubernetes
