Job description
We are looking for Academy Talent ID Scouts on a casual basis for AWFC. The role will be responsible for observing, monitoring and reporting on young players to create a database which potential future senior players can be selected from.

Your day-to-day
- Supporting the creation of a robust Talent ID strategy for u9-u21.
- Identifying talented and promising young players in the club catchment area for AWFC Academy.
- Liaising with Full time staff, talent ID, local leagues, and clubs to ensure relevant fixtures, festivals and tournaments are being monitored / covered.
- Regularly attending matches and training sessions of local clubs to identify the best players and future talented players, and complete scout reports on players as requested. As well as regularly attend AWFC matches and training sessions to understand current level and benchmark.
- Collecting and securely organising player data, within GDPR regulations.
- Producing reports of current recruitment landscape and present to talent ID coordinator.
- Attending AWFC academy Talent ID meetings as required.
What we are looking for
- FA Level 2 in Talent Identification (level 3 desirable)
- UEFA B / FA Level 3 (desirable)
- Educated to a good standard of numeracy and literacy.
- Full UK Driving license.
- Extensive knowledge of Women’s football in the London and Home Counties area with a solid network of contacts.
- Experience of video analysis in the elite game.
- Experience of Scouting young players in age groups u9-u21 at an elite level.
- Knowledge of the standard of players required at Arsenal Women FC and an understanding and knowledge of the overall Women’s Talent Pathway in England.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
