IN2-AV are delighted to present an exciting opportunity with one of our long-standing clients, a leading Audio Visual Systems Integrator in London. They are seeking a talented Audio Visual On-site Support Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare meeting rooms for presentations, video and audio conferencing, and collaboration.
- Provide comprehensive support for AV software and hardware.
- Troubleshoot a wide range of technology incidents and problems.
- Utilise Service Desk software to manage support and service requests.
- Resolve support issues promptly, courteously, and professionally.
- Maintain training and support documentation.
- Communicate effectively with internal customers.
- Manage inventory of AV hardware, firmware, software, and configurations.
- Contribute to the specification and procurement of new equipment.
- Monitor and optimise AV system performance.
- Assist in office relocations.
Requirements:
- Previous AV experience in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with Senior Management.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the AV industry and/or corporate environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Crestron, AMX, and RTI.
- Familiarity with Lutron lighting control, Polycom, MS Teams, networking protocols (RS232, RS485), VOIP telephony, SIP, and video collaboration.
- Additional certifications such as Infocomm CTS, Crestron P101, Extron School of AV, or Cisco CCNA are a plus.
