Job description

ASL Technical are seeking applications from talented and motivated Automotive Electronics Project Engineers for a variety of customer in the Kent and Sussex region of the UK. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical and electronics engineering and a desire to work in the automotive industry. These are excellent opportunities for graduates with 2-3 years experience to take their career to the next level and make a significant impact in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development of display screen and warning systems for automotive applications, from concept to production.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of systems into vehicles.

Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Conduct and oversee testing and validation of display screen and warning systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Analyse and troubleshoot system issues and develop and implement solutions to improve performance and reliability.

Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate project progress and results to internal and external stakeholders.

Stay up-to-date on new technologies and trends in the automotive electronics industry and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field with an interest and knowledge of EE engineering.

2-3 years of experience in the development of electrical and electronic systems for automotive applications.

Strong understanding of automotive electronics and experience with electrical circuit design and analysis.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects from concept to production.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
