Functional Test Automation Lead
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: Competitive + package (dependant on experience)

As a Functional Test Automation Engineer, you will:
The following skills and experience are essential for this role:
Experience automating functional testing of SaaS software, writing scripts in Java, Python, C#
Has at least 6+ years hand-on experience in Automation of SaaS products using Tricentis Tosca
Has 2+ years of experience in leading Automation testing and mentoring junior engineers in the team.
Experience in designing Automation framework.
Good understanding of CI/CD tools and API automation
Experience with Azure Devops and setting up Test Management tools
Experience in using other test tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, Rest-assured or Wiremock
Experience working with users to design and conduct manual testing, developing a good understanding of the requirements, user needs and solution design in order to differentiate between defects and enhancements
A proven track record of testing software developments in a structured environment.
A complete understanding of the Defect Management lifecycle and knowledge of one or more defect management tools e.g. JIRA, Bugzilla or HP ALM.
The ability to work in a changing environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities at short notice.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in Agile (Scrum, Kanban or SAFe) environment/teams
