Role: Service & PDI Technicians - Groundcare Machinery

Job description

Oliver Landpower Ltd are long standing Toro, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, and Club Car dealers, supplying machinery to premium golf and sports venues. Due to the growing success and expansion of the business, an opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Service Engineers & PDI Technicians to join the well-established service department at Kings Langley.

Reporting directly to the Service manager / Workshop controller key Responsibilities include:

• Service and maintain Groundcare machinery, including professional mowing equipment, utility vehicles, ATV's and handheld products to the manufacturers specifications and to ensure machine reliability and safety.
• Build up and carry out pre-delivery inspections of new machinery.
• Have a keen eye for detail, reporting machine defects and upselling the services provided by the company wherever possible.
• Successfully diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain and various other faults prior to initiating and completing a repair.
• Operate diagnostic software via a laptop computer when required (training will be given).
• Complete a detailed report of work completed along with supporting photographs and documenting of all worked times.
• Any other duties as deemed necessary to fulfil the role.

Groundcare Engineer Skills and Experience

• A background in groundcare, agricultural, construction, assembly, or commercial vehicle service with a willingness to work the hours required to get jobs completed.
• Flexible and hands on.
• IT Literate
• Driving licence

Benefits

• Salary - £10 to £15 per hour, based on experience.
• Holiday entitlement – 24 days per year plus 8 bank holidays

Hours

• Monday - Thursday, 8am – 4.30pm and Friday, 8am – 3.30pm with ½ hour lunch break (basic 39 hour working week)
• Overtime available (Mon – Sat time and a half, Sunday – double time, bank holiday Monday – double time & day in lieu)
• You will be required to do some weekend working during peak times.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
