The Team:
The Workplace Technology Specialist (wts) team is responsible for the delivery of a responsive, effective and timely IT service to all employees of Dojo by devising and implementing operational processes and procedures in order to provide reliable and available IT service at all times.

The role:
Working alongside the WTS teams, the Audio-Visual (AV) Support Specialist will provide technical support for audio and visual equipment used in a variety of settings, including conferences, meetings, presentations, and events across all our offices. The AV Support Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, setting up equipment, and ensuring that all audio and visual components are operating smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment such as projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and other related hardware and software.
  • Set up and test audio-visual equipment prior to events to ensure they are in proper working order.
  • Provide technical support during events and meetings, troubleshooting issues that may arise, and ensuring smooth operation of all equipment.
  • Collaborate with event planners, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure the audio-visual needs of each event are met.
  • Keep up to date with the latest audio-visual technology trends and equipment advancements.
  • Maintain an inventory of audio-visual equipment and supplies and ensure that all equipment is stored and maintained properly.
  • Train users on the proper operation of audio-visual equipment and provide technical assistance as needed.
  • Travel to other offices (Belfast, Bristol, Dublin, and Hull) to assist with events where necessary.
  • Able to maintain a positive “Can Do” Attitude.
  • Ability to prioritise works to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Be hands-on and assist the WTS team with BAU IT support where required.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with audio-visual equipment in a technical support or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of audio-visual equipment and software, including projectors, microphones, sound systems, video conferencing systems, and related hardware and software.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be committed and self-motivated, with very good organisational skills
  • Must be physically capable of setting up and moving audio-visual equipment.

Certs:
  • Crestron DMC-E-4K - The Crestron Digital Certified Engineer, highly desirable but not essential.
