Our Client, a boutique technology design consultants in Huntingdon are looking for an Audio Visual Engineer to join their design team to work on a variety of hospitality projects.

Purpose of the Audio Visual Engineer
The role will include the preparation and coordination of Audio Visual Systems design advice for the development of a wide range of projects across the hospitality sector
Audio Visual Engineer
Job requirements / duties:
- To assist in the design and documentation of the Audio Visual Systems for new hospitality projects – including sitewide background music, ballrooms, meeting rooms, residential cinemas and 5* suite AV systems.
- If required, to assist with Audio Visual System inspections of contractor installations and provide inspection reports on the quality of the installation and produce snag lists.
- Prepare labelling, testing and commissioning schedules to be used by specialist contractors to qualify the quality and completeness of the installation.
- Provide input into emerging technology and future trends.
Person specification for the Audio Visual Engineer
- Good functional experience and understanding of Audio Visual systems and their design and implementation. Lutron, Bose, Crestron, AMX, Dante, Biamp & QSC experience an advantage
- Preferably with installation experience and integration into wider networks. Avixa CTS or Cedia qualifications an advantage
- Experience of designing AV systems for
- Background music
- Meeting rooms/ boardrooms / training rooms.
- Control systems / home automation.
- Residential cinemas & Audio Visual systems
- Digital signage
- Television distribution - satellite, terrestrial, cable (traditional/IPTV).
- Video and audio conferencing.
To be self-motivated and work well with others - communicating with other team members and contributing to the team.
Good written and verbal communication skills - ability to listen & question to gain & share understanding.
