Audio Visual (AV) Design Manager (residential) - This is a new role that is after someone that is at the top of their games in the world of Audio Visual Custom Install. The position will see you being an integral member of the team working as an interface between the sales and projects team. Your experience will need to come from the world of high end av systems integration, where you have previously worked on bespoke projects, MDUs or similar. You must be used to working alongside designer, architects, M&E companies and building contractors. You will have either been an av designers, audio visual project manager, av technical sales engineer, av project engineer or pre-sales engineer. Your responsibility will be taking a sales order and producing a fully detailed projects costing. So previous experience of RFIs and RTDs would be good to see within the CV. The position will require you to be exceptional at customer facing have a good eye for detail and bring a thorough technical know how to the project and sell if need be. An appreciation of systems design would be ideal so you can talk through the design process with the end client and within the team environment.
Your background will need to encompass some of the following:

• Crestron, Lutron,
• Home networking (Cisco, Apple, Microsoft, Draytek)
• Rack build, 1st , 2nd and 3rd fix
• Cable / connector knowledge
• Audio Video signal processing, Home Cinema System Calibration
• Tenders response documentation
• An understanding of the AV design process
