About Us:

We are a welcoming household located in Glasgow, Scotland. We are excited to invite an enthusiastic and responsible individual to join our family as an Au Pair. Our aim is to provide an immersive cultural exchange experience while offering support and guidance to ensure a memorable and enriching time together.

Responsibilities:

• Engage actively with our young child, aged 2 years old, in meaningful interactions that encourage language development and cultural exchange.
• Assist with daily routines, including preparing meals, helping with housework, organizing playtime, and overseeing bedtime routines.
• Accompany children to extracurricular activities and appointments as needed.
• Plan and participate in educational and recreational activities that promote learning, creativity, and personal growth.
• Share your cultural background and language with the children, fostering a rich cross-cultural experience for both you and our family.
• Help maintain a clean and organized environment in the children's living and play areas.
• Support children's emotional well-being and provide a nurturing presence in the absence of parents.
• Collaborate with parents to ensure consistent parenting approaches and routines.
• Occasionally assist with light household tasks, such as tidying up shared spaces and doing children's laundry.

****Applicant must be re siding in the UK and have the permission to work.****

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Glasgow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• childcare: 1 year (preferred)
