Join us as a Legal Order Advisor

  • This role will see you supporting our Corporates & Institutions division to deliver its legal strategy
  • You’ll be working with internal and external stakeholders and legal colleagues to ensure the timely and effective delivery of various projects

What you'll do

You’ll be delivering expert and accurate advice on confidentiality agreements, release and reliance letters and other documents in a way that's readily understandable to non-legal colleagues. You’ll be adopting a commercial and proactive approach when advising our businesses on these documents, while also managing and minimising our exposure to legal risk.

You’ll also be:

  • Managing and coordinating the review and negotiation of legal documents
  • Reviewing and analysing legal documents and providing expert advice
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a service that's commercial, proactive and manages legal risk
  • Delivering continuous improvements in our operating practices and team processes

The skills you'll need

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have knowledge of confidentiality agreements, release and reliance letters and other legal documents pertaining to English law, along with their legal effect.

You’ll also need:

  • Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • The ability to communicate legal issues to people who don't have a legal background
  • An ability to develop excellent working relationships
  • Great stakeholder management skills
