The Role
To succeed in this role you have to be self-motivated and able to support the Kyndryl business, focusing on the UK and Ireland regions, with the capability to work across borders.
You will have extensive experience and be able to advise the business on public sector engagements, including the UK Government Model Services Contract and CCS frameworks. You will also act as the single point of contact in the legal department for all public sector matters. You should be skilled and have the requisite experience to practise commercial and contract law in this jurisdiction.
Joining us, you will have a range of responsibilities as well as a public sector focal point, including, being a trusted advisor to the company's business leaders in the region, which will include negotiating, drafting and advising upon a variety of commercial arrangements, to include, in particular, outsourcing and infrastructure services and management contracts, other services contracts, distribution arrangements, intellectual property, data protection, security (including cybersecurity), as well as supporting other company projects as required and dispute resolution.
Experience in negotiating complex GDPR matters is highly desirable.
Experience in 1 or more of the following would be an asset:
Regulatory experience, including competition compliance, the FCPA, import & export regulations;
Corporate experience.
If you are extremely bright and engaging, with a demonstrable strong focus in commercial and technology related agreements you belong to us.
Experience and training gained from working in a prestigious law firm or in a blue chip technology organisation would be preferable.
Relevant in-house experience in a multi-national organisation is desirable, but not a pre-requisite.
Moreover, we will value a collaborative, positive and enthusiastic approach and a genuine passion for being part of the technology driven revolution.

Who You Are
- Experienced commercial negotiator with extensive public sector experience and a proven track record.
- Demonstrable understanding of outsourcing, infrastructure services and complex service contracts.
- Legal Qualifications.
- Negotiation skills.
- Understanding of UK Government Model Services Contracts Experience of working with the UK Government Model Services Contract and CCS Frameworks.
- Qualified and practising lawyer, admitted to the courts of England and Wales.
