Job description
Provide specialist legal advice to the constituent teams within the ICB in relation to the commissioning of health services and joint commissioning with partners. Provide specialist legal advice in relation to patient choice in light of NHS schemes and Regulations. Providing legal support and advice in complex CHC cases, EHCP proceedings, discharge planning processes, commissioning statements and policies and IFR decisions Providing support and negotiation/mediation in complex public law matters where there is dispute with providers, service users or partner agencies in respect of commissioning arrangements. Support and advise commissioning managers and the provider collaboratives in relation to establishment of or changes too commissioning arrangements (whether that is CHC or general commissioning arrangements) Work closely with ICB colleagues in quality to support complaints issues where they relate to case management.
