We are seeking to appoint an Attendance Officer to work alongside our Senior Leadership Team and Heads of House, supporting high standards of student attendance, following up on any absence and ensuring effective communication with families and external agencies. Knowledge of SIMS (School Information Management System) would be an advantage, although full training will be provided. You should be able to demonstrate effective use of Microsoft Office packages and have strong communication skills; both verbal and written. You will be required to work 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday, term time plus 1 week( 39 working weeks per year). John O'Gaunt School is situated in the beautiful historic market town of Hungerford on the Berkshire/Wiltshire border and is very much at the heart of the community it serves. There are good road and rail links, with easy access to the M4 and a 10-minute walk from the station. This is an exciting time to join John O’Gaunt, judged to be a 'Good' school by Ofsted.
