Job description
To provide specialist physiological measurement (ABPI and TBPI) blood flow measurement skills to patients attending the Vascular Laboratory. Be responsible for the day to day organisation of the caseload therein.
Develop and maintain a system of work for the ongoing provision of a screening service for patients with AAA and undertake the clinical caseload. This can be removed
To work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, maintaining good communication with other members of the multi-disciplinary team e.g. vascular surgeons, doctors, nurse practitioners and allied health professionals.
To participate both formally and informally in the promotion of education and training to junior doctors, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in the principles and practice of non-invasive vascular assessment, namely ABPI's and exercise ABPI's.
