Your Mission as the Associate RWD Solution Advisor:

You are a key player and part of our Global Advisory Team to support prospective and current key clients of BC Platforms as they evaluate and then implement our solutions which focus on Real World Data (RWD).

You are our client's Trusted Advisor who can offer extensive advice on the data and regulatory considerations required for their RWD studies as well as the science and technology behind their approach to analyzing that data and generating Real World Evidence (RWE) to ultimately bring benefits to patients.


Your key
activities as the Associate RWD Solution Advisor:

  • Working with the sales team to enable the company to achieve its sales targets. This role sits in the commercial team of BC Platforms.
  • Working with clients to define their RWD/outcomes and analysis needs. Specifically, they will need to provide oversight and understand the use case and research questions that the client has, the patient population that needs to be targeted, the data elements that need to be provided, the data elements that are/are not available, etc.
  • Working with the BC Platforms sales team to build solution proposals for the client’s data, regulatory and analysis requirements and to articulate the benefit of working with BC Platforms and our unique approach.
  • Building an understanding with the BC Platforms technical team to define the solution requirements and track the delivery of that solution to the client.
  • Providing input on solution requirements to the BC Platforms technical team (ensuring our solutions evolve to deliver on the value promise to our clients now and in the future)
  • Understanding the availability of data at sites across multiple therapeutic areas and translating research questions to real-world data requirements to the Data Partnerships team.
  • Share your understanding of data sharing and transfer, confidentiality and privacy regulations with the BC Platforms operations team.
  • Present our solution demonstrations to prospects and new potential key accounts/clients and articulate the benefits of working with BC Platforms.

Your Education & Experience:


  • 3-5 years of experience which we would define as either:
    • Experience working in drug development (e.g. CRO/BioPharma with 3-5 years experience in clinical trial data analytics or a former CRA or CRO PM) with a willingness to learn data science and BC Platforms technology OR
    • Experience with Bioinformatics and Data Science at Research Site Level with a willingness to learn the drug development industry and BC Platforms technology.
  • Knowledge of GCP (Good Clinical Practice), HIPAA and GDPR and its applicability to RWD and technology solutions.
  • Understanding of genomics or willingness to learn.
  • Understanding of healthcare and clinical data including Real World Data or willingness to learn.
  • Experience or familiarity with working with clinical data types (EHR, phenotypic, images, NGS and multi-omic data) or willingness to learn.
  • Ideally, experience or familiarity with statistical programming languages (R, Python).
  • Ideally, experience or familiarity with tools to undertake big data analysis (SQL, Spark, cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, Google).
  • Experience working with Pharma Industry RWD End Users.
  • Fluency in English.

  • This is a remote position for UK residents.
  • Corporate offices are based in Helsinki, Zurich and Singapore, requiring flexibility in scheduling meetings across geographies.
  • Travel expected, including international travel, client workshops and industry events with no greater than 50% of the time.
