Job description

Associate Project Managers are a primary point of contact for our clients from project initiation through to closeout. They will manage small cases and assist on larger, more complex projects.

Remote, work from home opportunity.

Position Overview

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that projects are carried out to the best possible standard, within relevant timelines, at an acceptable cost and in line with overall company objectives, while meeting client requirements for deliverables. They are responsible for setting and meeting client expectations and communicating project progress to all the stakeholders in the project – the client, sales and the operations team.

Specifically the Associate Project Manager has the following responsibilities;

  • To work with sales to help plan projects and ensure they are scoped in a cost effective manner.
  • To take responsibility for all aspects of an individual project once the contract is agreed
  • To deliver projects on time, to budget and to client’s satisfaction
  • To provide pricing input related to any project requirements
  • To provide project specific reporting as required by the client and internal stakeholders
  • To develop relationships with appropriate client representatives
  • To work with the Project Coordinator team to ensure that project documentation is maintained
  • To ensure that all project knowledge is shared with other members of the team
  • To ensure all project financials are appropriately managed, forecasted and invoiced.

Role, Responsibilities & Duties

  • Successfully manage small concurrent projects from project win to completion whilst exceeding on delivery and client expectations
  • Successfully assist on large or more complex projects from project win to completion
  • Provide complete and timely communications to KLDiscovery clients. Ensuring that the client has an understanding of project status and financials and that information is communicated in an effective and concise manner
  • Provide appropriate work direction to all internal KLDiscovery personnel assigned to execute the project
  • Facilitate project meetings and internal communications to ensure projects are completed correctly and on time.
  • Execute all appropriate processes and procedures to ensure correct forecasting of revenue and invoicing of client project.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Experience with projects or legal processes where this has involved extension and ongoing liaison (face to face, phone and email) with others would be advantages.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively facilitate meetings.
  • Legal/industry knowledge or experience is advantageous
  • High degree of interpersonal sensitivity to allow building of relationships with experienced qualified stage and clients
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels
  • Strong ability to work autonomously; identifies and presents solutions; confident decision making ability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Technical aptitude and financial appreciation
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Degree or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Fluency in English and another European language is desirable.
