Associate Product Owner - UK London, England

LineTen
Full Time London, England 71856 - 99093 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Due to further expansion, we are seeking a Associate Product Owner to help us to continue to dominate one of the most buoyant, fastest-growing industries, that is changing the world and the speed at which we receive items.

What we do

LineTen builds software that helps restaurants retail their products online. Here’s how we do it:

  • We build and maintain integrations to “Delivery Apps” like UberEats and Talabat + Point of Sale systems like Oracle and Toast
  • We build and operate online ordering websites so clients can offer proprietary click and collect, curbside, and click and deliver journeys
  • We have a number of related features to make it as easy as possible to get the most out of retailing ready to eat food online.

Why work with us?

  • We Are a Home-First Team: LineTen is committed to our home-first policy, which means that we honour remote working first, and offer office space in London, England and Porto, Portugal.
  • We Believe in Having Fun: Our WellUs team organises monthly events like Pet Zoom Calls, 45-minute Yoga classes, and after-hours cocktail lessons.
  • We Want You to Take a Break: We believe it is the quality of work that matters, not the hours spent “on the clock”. We offer flexible working hours and unlimited vacation.
  • We Work in Teams: We work in teams rather than as individuals. Some teams, like our Product Teams, have agile ceremonies such as standups and sprint planning.
  • We Pitch Our Ideas: We independently sketch ideas then come to team discussions with prototypes instead of trying to reach consensus through extended discussion.
  • We Challenge Norms: We don’t want to be typical. We believe in challenging the status quo. We encourage our teammates to make their jobs their own.

We are looking for a Associate Product Owner to join our team in the UK. There’s so much opportunity here, so if you’re a go-getter who wants to learn and progress quickly then keep reading! What to expect:

  • Support the Product Manager to execute against the product vision
  • Work with the Product Manager to order and manage the product feature backlog in order to maximise the value of what the development team is working on
  • Support the planning of the product release plans and release notes
  • Work with the Product Manager to write and develop user stories and document context for ticketing
  • Be hands-on and take ownership for business metrics and product KPIs and support the Product Manager to meet with stakeholders and get their feedback - from release planning to internal sales and support demos
  • Actively mitigate impediments impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals

To be successful at this job it’s likely you’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience as a Junior Product Owner or a similar position.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A background in stakeholder management and must have a passion for Technology, Data and Design.
  • Experience in a start-up and/or SaaS company
  • Experience across web, mobile (iOS, Android), and even paid channels
  • Strong technical skills desirable and self-reliance in extracting, cleaning and analysing data, working closely with technical teams
  • All over agile methodologies - Scrum and Kanban - more in practice than textbook
  • A highly structured individual who can summarise and simplify customer problems/business challenges
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and outcome-driven
  • An innate ability to listen and identify what other people find important
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure – patient, empathetic and with a positive mindset
  • An appetite to develop a deep understanding of LineTens product portfolio, client’s technology profiles, our competitors and markets around the world
  • Thorough and attentive to detail

If you have at least 80% of the listed experience and skills, it’s definitely worth applying!
