Full Time Hythe, Hampshire, South East England, England 44000 - 58000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Salary: £44,000- £58,000 DOE + benefits

Location: Hythe, Kent

We care deeply about inclusive working practices and diverse teams. If you'd prefer to work part-time or as a job-share, we'll facilitate this wherever we can - whether to help you meet other commitments or to help you strike a great work-life balance.

We're looking for Product Managers who can define and execute product roadmaps, working closely with cross-functional teams of engineer, designers and other specialists to solve exciting customer problems.

You'll be key in helping us achieve our 'Remake Holiday Making' strategy, transforming the interaction we have with our customers - from transactional to trip focussed, designing experiences that are fun, fast, and intelligent. Right now, our goals are to...

  • Provide the fastest, most smartest customer service offering in travel
  • Create the most valuable trip experience using our HeHa! app
  • Provide the best Shortbreaks product platform in the UK
  • Build intelligence into our customer experience

With our approach to continuous deployment, the impact of your work will be seen quickly, reaching some of our 7 million customer daily. Our priorities are driven by our high data quality and the value we can bring to our customers.

The Role

By joining our team you'll:

  • Focus on understanding and solving customer problems, owning quarterly product roadmaps; bringing your ideas to life with user stories, wireframes and data to take others on the product journey
  • Lead an agile team of delivery, engineering, data and design; focussed on building, measuring and learning. Inspire them to deliver and achieve successful results
  • Keep away from the daily delivery, leaving that to your capable Delivery Manager, so you can focus on roadmap and where the product is heading
  • Collaborate with digital UX, design, development and content teams to deliver seamless product solutions
  • Build a broad understanding of the tech stack for your product
  • Collaborate heavily with senior leaders across the Group, flexing your stakeholder management skills
  • Demo your work to the team at the end of every sprint, celebrating successes and learning from each other
  • Learn from, and support your Product Manager peers; working with the best in the industry, at the forefront of product innovation
  • Have a dedicated people lead to help build your career and skills, developing through our Product progression framework

What you can bring to our team:

  • An outcome-driven approach, able to tell us how you moved the dial on KPIs for products you've worked on
  • A knowledge and understanding of the digital product management cycle
  • Expert written and spoken communication skills with a proven track record of working with senior stakeholders across varied business units
  • Be well-versed across the agile and digital space, have experience motivating and leading cross-functional teams.
  • A self-starter: a driven, motivated individual who identifies opportunities, is prepared to get their hands dirty (digs into details, pushes things over the line)
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, remaining unfazed when having to work out how to do things you’ve never been exposed to before
  • Flexible and resilient in approach, willing to change and adapt plans quickly based on new information
  • Data literate - confident and capable in data analytics, able to self-serve and interpret data to inform customer problem solving

Everyone’s career path is individual and different, so this is just a guide. If your experience doesn't precisely match this, you’re encouraged to apply so that we can discover your unique talents!

How we hire for this role

We know your time is precious, so we keep our recruitment process as quick and easy as possible. If we believe you might be a match for a job you’ve applied for, you’ll enter our hiring process as follows:

  • 30 minute call with our Tech Recruiter to understand your experience and the team and role
  • 1.5 hour onsite interview with the Product People Lead & PM’s, incorporating a presentation and interview questions

Recognising we are all different, if for whatever reason you need us to adapt the process, please get in touch via [email protected].
