Job description
- Work on PFaroe Portfolio Management (PFaroe™ PM), a complex and multi-asset front-office decision support tool for portfolio managers, consultants and institutional investors. (For more information see https://pfaroe.moodysanalytics.com/pfaroe-portfolio-management.)
- Work closely with internal & external stakeholders, development, program management, UX/UI, testing and subject matter expert teams to design functionality based on business requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery and be a key part of the software development lifecycle of new product features and improvements within a hybrid working agile development team.
- Help in the development of prototypes and designs of upcoming functionality using Excel, Python or similar tools.
- Assist in providing content and reviewing documentation for new features as well as supporting training activities and providing second level support on the technical and analytical aspects of the product.
- Be a key contributor to regular remote and on-site planning events, working with UK, US, Bulgaria and fully remote based teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to coordinate & assist teams in managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Ability to work and think independently as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s (required) and Master’s (preferred) degree in Finance, Maths or a related field
- Knowledge of performance attribution, risk, portfolio construction and/or asset pricing gained though job experience, a degree and/or certifications required
- Knowledge of fixed income securities required
- Strong excel skills required
- Some system/business analysis experience preferred
- Passed, studying towards or interest in taking CFA Level I preferred
- Experience working within agile software development preferred
