Camarco London is hiring an Associate Partner to join our outstanding Financials Team, based in London, and playing an instrumental role in our expansion into the MENA region. Within this newly created role you will play a pivotal part in all MENA business and opportunities that we are being introduced to as part of our recent acquisition by the APCO Worldwide group.
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead activities on growth opportunities in the MENA region, whilst there will also be the opportunity to travel to the region and spearhead the growth and partnership building of these new business wins. You will also be serving some of our existing FIG clients as well as working on one or two other clients across other sectors in the UK.
The Role
This is the perfect opportunity if you are looking to join a business that is on an upward trajectory and strategically moving into new international markets. You will have previous experience of the MENA region and a track record of advising clients within this space.
You will be London based, however there will be plenty of time spent on the ground in MENA as/when required. Experience within the Fin PR space is our preference, however broking and/or investment banking is also super-interesting. You will ideally currently head up FIG accounts in the UK, however we are also delighted to welcome applicants who have experience within other sectors.
Qualifications and skills
- At least 6 years’ experience in Fin PR or broking/investment banking
- Is prepared to take on a central role in coordinating and advising MENA clients from our UK office and travelling out to the MENA region, as and when required.
- Heads up smaller client accounts in the UK (mainly in FIG but can also be one or two clients from other sectors)
- Deputizes for client leader in the latter’s absence, playing a key role in the delivery of our services and has a track record of retaining income.
- Is highly valued by their clients.
- For financial PR numeracy is critical
- Demonstrates management skills, being highly respected by both junior and senior levels and peers.
- Has a developing network of influential stakeholders including client management, Communication/IR Heads, media and, for Financial PR, analysts and bankers?
- Is starting to generate business leads.
- Is highly respected externally as well as internally.
- Demonstrates management skills, being highly respected by those at a more junior as well as the same and more senior levels.
