Associate or Partner, Fort William
Scotland’s stunning and diverse west coast provides a range of challenges and opportunities on which our Fort William team thrives! The team is looking for an experienced Associate or Partner to join them.
Ideally but not essentially, our successful applicant will be MRICS qualified and a RICS Registered Valuer however extensive client side relevant experience is paramount. The appointee will work closely with the Head of Fort William office, be a productive and profitable fee earner, having a particular focus in the area of professional work. A keen interest to develop business is essential for this role. Most importantly, the employee will need to be able to work well in a team that prides itself on not only its professionalism but also its energy and enthusiasm.
Our Fort William property professionals offer advice on all aspects of land and estate management as well as expertise in grid and infrastructure, natural capital, property agency, forestry, and the marine environment. In addition, they work closely with the planning and residential development and energy and renewables teams located in Perth
What You’ll Do:
You will get the opportunity to work on a diverse range of impressive projects for some of Scotland’s leading landowners. You will get involved with a host of varied and exciting work, including, but not limited to:
A portfolio of professional instructions including the management of compulsory purchase/utility schemes, landlord and tenant matters and general practice work of a professional nature- Valuations of rural property including farms and estates
- Rural agency
- Developing new business and client relationships
- Supporting and encouraging the Fort William team
- Winning new professional instructions
We will want you to progress and make your mark in the rural sector whilst helping to grow and develop the team in Fort William. Bidwells will ensure we will do all we can to help you achieve your development goals.
Your package:
The role is a 35 hour working week, 9-5 Monday to Friday. We will pay you competitively and provide you with an excellent benefits package: 28 days holiday (increasing with length of service), up to 8% contributory pension, your birthday off work, car allowance or company car, private health insurance, discretionary bonus scheme, medicash scheme (money towards dental treatments, opticians and remedial therapies).
